A Foster Parent's Viewpoint

"As a foster parent, Royal Family Kids Camp was a total God-send, not only for us, but our son as well. He expressed wanting to go to a camp with “other kids like me” and a Google search brought us to the RFKC website.

"We had no idea exactly what we were signing up for, but it was so far beyond anything we could have hoped for, two years in a row! From the moment we got out of the car for that first drop off, it was clear that the volunteers not only care about these kids, but ultimately deeply desire them to know the One who made them and loves them. The intricacies of how they care for kids from such different backgrounds and experiences are not only trauma-informed and intentional, but aim to celebrate, connect, and unite them in the process.

"The memories and mementos our son has from his time at Royal Family Kids Camp are truly unmatched, and he is counting down the days until he’s old enough to go back and be a volunteer himself."
